I have finished my shrug..... good thing it didn't get too cold down here this winter.
But I can still use it indoors.
I will see if I can't post a good pic of it.
I will probably have to go outside to get a good visable one. Mainly because the yarn I used is Lion Brand Homespun in Edwardian, which is black with streaks of gray.
I like it though. ;) :)

Another new project
I had a co-worker give me a pattern for a hat called a gunnister cap, colonial cap for men.
It requires #4 double pointed, or circular needles. I plan on using double pointed needles, but I might end up switching to circular before to long. I have had to restart 3 times already.
I am just having issues keeping the stitches tight at each joining needle.
Ah the joys of knitting...hehehe.

Just thinking
Right now I am just sitting at home thinking on the previous year and all the things I have gained and lost...
I found out mom forgot to give me something for Christmas, she lost it.
It being a nice looking wine gift box, you know the long tubular cardboard ones that comes with a lid.
Well she made a hole in the top that I could pull yarn through while I knit.
She also packed with three different yarns and a pair of needles....So I could make her three different scarves.
And I will once she finds it again.
